Shakuntala Devi from India, a child prodigy, often reffer to as a HUMAN COMPUTER because of her amazing mental calculation capacity.
She never attended school in her younger ages, During her early years, she shot fame by mentally calculating one of the toughest mathematical multiplication 10 second before from the fastest computer.
Shakuntala Devi born in Bengaluru, Karnataka 4th Nov 1929. In April 2013 she admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru with respiratory problem. she died in the hospital on 21 April 2013, she was 83 years old.
Her talent earned her a place in The Guinness Book of World Records in the year 1982. where she beat the world fastest computer at multiplying two thirteen digit numbers.
Shakuntala Devi was a great writer, she wrote a number of books, including Novel as well as text about Mathematics, Astrology, Puzzles etc. She wrote the book, "The World of Homosexuals", which is considered the first study of homosexuality in India.
